How to Find the Right Homeschool Support. The difference between a good co-op and a bad one is usually parent culture, not curriculum. Visit before committing. Ask how decisions get made, who leads which subjects, and what happens when a family drops out mid-year. For microschools, ask about the educational philosophy, how progress gets assessed, and what happens when a student is ahead or behind in a subject.
